Even if the weather was not quite mild enough in some regions, the 1932 vintage is very decent eveywhere in France.
Bordeaux produced unconvincing wines in very low quantities due to the constant rain which let to watery grapes. The wines are light and diluted, especially the 1932 white Bourgogne wines which are not popular. A few red wines such as Médoc wines stand out.
In Bourgogne, despite the heavy rainfalls, the summer was pretty warm and helped produce matured grapes. The Bourgogne wines are elegant, fine and flavorful. Champagne also produced good 1932 bottles and Vallée du Rhône produced a more or less satisfying wine.
Beaujolais was the most successful region in 1932 with good quality, successful wines.
If you wish to purchase a 1932 bottle, here is our selection of staple bottles from this vintage : Yquem, Côte Rôtie, Hermitage, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Haut Médoc, Listrac Médoc and Pessac Léognan will be perfect to celebrate important events such as a wedding anniversary.
