This vintage was very successful and very good 1904 wines were produced in most french regions which enjoyed mild weather.

 

Thanks to favorable weather conditions, the harvest was high-quality and quite abundant. Bordeaux produced solid, rich and concentrated red wines with excellent ageing potentials. Most Châteaux produced rich, fine wines.

The Sauternes wines are surprising and very interesting.

 

In Bourgogne, the 1904 vintage was very successful with both red and white wines. The wines are high-quality and very harmonious. They are syrupy, sweet, fruity and very enjoyable.

 

Vallée du Rhône produced a very good vintage as well : the summer heat promoted well-matured fruits and helped produce rich, well-rounded wines.
