Liquors are soft drinks with a high alcohol content, flavored variously with fruits, herbs or plants. Popular since Antiquity, they were then used for their so called medicinal qualities and evolved over time. There are now 3 main liquor varieties : monastic liquors which are based on plants, peasant liquors which are based on fruits, and industrial liquors which are based on seeds, bark and/or roots.
