Maison Louis Jadot is a prestigious Bourgogne domaine with a large vineyard producing high-quality wines. It owes its international reputation mainly to the excellent work of André Gagey and now his son Pierre-Henry Gagey. In 1859, the Jadot family acquired a First Growth from Beaune : Clos des Ursules. In 1985, the estate was sold to the american Kopf family, who then purchased many prestigious vineyards including Domaine Clair-Daü, Domaine Moulin-à-Vent, Château de Jacques and Château de Bellevue, as well as Maison Champet's vineyards and cellars.
