Château Lagrange is a prestigious domaine producing great Saint-Julien wines. The produced red wines, ranked as Third Growth in 1855, are composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot. They are light, elegant and well-balanced wines, very appreciated by wine lovers. Château Lagrange is currently owned by the Suntory japanese group, which acquired the estate in 1983, restored the buildings wonderfully and purchased parcels from the previous owners. Marcel Ducasse was manager and cellar master from 1983 to 2007, when he retired. Bruno Eynard took over and now contributes to the international reputation of the domaine.
