Château Pavie, exceptional First Growth, has vines located southeast of Saint-Emilion and spread over sunny hills. In the 19th century, Château Pavie started to build its reputation thanks to the Talleman and Pigasse families. In 1885, the Bordeaux wine-merchant acquired the whole estate and expanded it considerably into a 50 ha vineyard. After two more owners, Château Pavie is now the property of the talented winemaker Gérard Perse, who successfully made his wines into some of the best of the Saint-Emilion appellation and in the world.
