Château Lynch-Bages stands for exceptional quality among Pauillac wines. Its vines are ideally located on the Bages plateau which spreads out over the Gironde department. Castle and domaine were owned by the Lynch family during the 17th and 18th centuries. They were then managed by various Bordeaux wine merchants and acquired in 1934 by Jean-Charles Cazes, owner of Château Les Ormes de Pez and its excellent Saint-Estèphe wine. The current owner is Jean-Michel Cazes, grand son of Jean-Charles, who managed to build an exceptional reputation thanks to a dedicated work. Talented winemaker and strong advocate of Pauillac and Bordeaux wines, he is also a talented businessman and was promoted to the prestigious title of « Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur » by french president Jacques Chirac.
