The 1955 Mercurey 1er Cru Clos du Roy from Domaine Faiveley is a red wine from Côte Chalonnaise in Bourgogne, produced from Pinot Noir exclusively. Family domaine founded in 1825 with more than 10 ha of Grands Crus and 25 ha of First Growth such as Beaune, Clos de l'Ecu and Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley, Domaine Faiveley is one of the few properties which made Bourgogne wines some of the most sought-after bottles in the world. Red Bourgogne wine produced from 2.5 ha of vines, the 1955 Mercurey Clos du Roy is ancient wine which will delight lovers and collectors of old vintages. A rare and beautiful bottle !
