With a vineyard from the 6th century, famous for its exceptional wine quality, the Côte-Rotie AOC spreads over 235 ha of vines planted in terraces across two terroirs : Côte Brune and Côte Blonde. Long-ageing wine composed mostly of Syrah, it can sometimes be associated with Viognier. Vintaged wine, the 1998 Côte-Rotie Les Bécasses from Domaine Chapoutier is an iconic Cru which will delight lovers of great wines from Vallée du Rhône.
