The 1999 Muscat Fronholz from Domaine Ostertag is a white wine from Alsace under Muscat appellation. Staple property of Alsace spread over 15 ha of vines and producing 16 wines mainly for exportation, Domaine Ostertag ranks its Grands Crus in 3 groups : « Vins de fruits » (fruit wines) which are the most representative of the vine, « Vins de pierre » (stone wines) which highlight the terroir, and « Vins du temps » (time wines) which are from late harvests and noble grain selection.
