The 1997 Château Calon is a Bordeaux red wine from the Montagne Saint-Émilion appellation.
Historic family property spread over 35 ha of vines composed mainly of Merlot with added Cabernet Sauvignon, Bouchet and Malbec, the great wines produced by the Boiron family are typical, fine and elegant Bordeaux Crus with an excellent ageing potential, similar to the production of the prestigious Château Corbin Michotte.
Vintaged wine, the 1997 Château Calon will make a perfect anniversary wine.
