The 1971 Château Les Ormes de Pez is a Bordeaux red wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
Cru Bourgeois and property of the Cazès family, who acquired the domaine in 1940 at same time as Fifth Growth Château Lynch Bages from the Pauillac appellation, Château Les Ormes de Pez spreads over 35 ha of vines composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet franc and Petit Verdot. Managed by the same team as its famous elder, this castle is a solid value of the appellation and produces high-quality wines with a remarquable ageing potential.
