The 1984 Château Haut-Bages Libéral is a Bordeaux red wine under the very prestigious Pauillac appellation.
This great wine is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The estate has one half of its vineyard adjacent to the famous Château Latour, rated as First Growth, and the other adjacent to Château Pichon Baron. Classified as Fifth Growth Bordeaux in 1855, the Château Haut-Bages Libéral offers today thanks to the legendary 1986 vintage, a wine which has reached perfect maturity, ready to enjoy and developing flavors of red berries, leather and notes of tobacco.
