The 1971 Château l'Evangile is a Bordeaux red wine from the prestigious Pomerol appellation.
Historical property owned by Baron Eric de Rothschild since 1990, Château l'Evangile spreads over 16 ha of vines located on the Pomerol plateau between the mythical Château Petrus and the famous First Growth Château Cheval Blanc. Composed mainly of Merlot with added Cabernet franc, the domaine's wines are among the most prestigious Pomerol bottles such as Château Petrus, Trotanoy or Le Pin.
