The 1943 Château Tertre Daugay is a Bordeaux red wine from the Saint-Émilion appellation. Historic property acknowledged by its peers with a gold medal in the « Exposition Universelle de Paris » of 1867, it was already known as one of the first Crus of the appellation. Château Tertre Daugay is now owned by the french company Domaine Clarence Dillon, owner of First Growth Château Haut-Brion, and was renamed Château Quintus. It spreads over 16 ha of vines composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet franc, and produces fine wines similar to other prestigious castles of the appellation. Ancient wine, the 1943 Château Tertre Daugay is a prestigious Cru, a rare wine to taste, collect or offer for a birthday or big event.
