The 1947 Château Pontet Canet is a Bordeaux red wine under Pauillac appellation and a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, to which was added along the years different ratios of Merlot, Cabernet franc and sometimes even Petit Verdot. Historic property with 80 ha of vines cultivated respecting biodynamic cultivation methods, this Grand Cru has had only 3 owners since its creation like the Cruse family, famous Bordeaux merchants. Neighbor to the legendary First Growth Château Mouton Rothschild, it has an exceptional terroir as well.
