The 1986 Château Le Crock Cru La Croix is a red wine from the Bordeaux region under Saint-Estèphe appellation. Historic Saint-Estèphe domaine, Château Le Crock has 32 ha of vines composed of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 9% Cabernet franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Property of the Cuvelier family, owner of Second Growth Château Léoville Poyferré from Saint-Julien and neighbor to Second Growth Château Cos d'Estournel and Montrose, Château Le Crock is ranked « Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel ». The 1986 Cru La Croix from Château Le Crock is the domaine's second wine. A perfect introduction to this Bordeaux castle and the opportunity to try an older Saint-Estephe for a reasonable price.
