The 1987 Gevrey-Chambertin « Cuvée de Champs-Chenys » from Domaine Joseph Roty is a red Bourgogne wine produced in Côte de Nuits from pinot noir.
Settled in Gevrey-Chambertin since 1710, the Roty family is part of the great Bourgogne wine elite. Joseph Roty moved to the domaine in the 1960s in order to propel it to the top of the most highly sought-after wines in the world, thanks to a modern vinification, the extraction of very matured grapes as well as a 60-year-old and 9.5-ha wide quality vineyard. Producing rare wines from prestigious appellations such as Charmes-Chambertin, Gevrey-Chambertin "Clos des fontenys", "Cuvée de Champs-Chenys and Mazis-Chambertin, ancient wines from this domaine are rare on the market.
