The 1969 Château Lafite is a Bordeaux red wine from the Pauillac appellation.
World-famous historic property, First Growth Château Lafite produces mythical wines, highly-prized among Bordeaux lovers. The prestigious Château Lafite Rothschild spreads over 114 ha of vines composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet franc and Petit Verdot. Besides its legendary wine, Domaine des Barons de Rothschild produces a second wine from the youngest vines of the vineyard (usually younger than 20 years old) : Le Grand Vin des Carruades Lafite. With similar characteristics to the First Growth, the Carruades wine is more accessible in its youth than its famous predecessor but still has a nice ageing potential.
Great vintaged wine, the 1969 Château Lafite is a renowned wine which will delight lovers of prestigious wines and will make a unique and original gift.
