The 1980 Santenay from Maison Eugène Péron is a Bourgogne red wine from the Santenay appellation.
This great wine is produced from Pinot noir exclusively. The Santenay appellation has a total of 378 ha of vines in the south of Beaune, with 12 First Growth wines out of 124 of those hectares, including the famous Beauregard and Clos des Mouches. The Santenay AOC produces long-ageing wines which are often compared to renowned wines like Volnay and Pommard.
The 1980 Santenay from Maison Eugène Péron will make an original gift to celebrate a birthday or a special event.
