The 2001 Fixin first growth « Clos du Chapitre » from Domaine Dufouleur is a Bourgogne red wine produced in Côte de Nuits from pinot noir.
Winemakers since the 16th century, the Dufouleur family is a major player in the Bourgogne wine production. Now managed by Yves Dufouleur, Domaine Dufouleur produces a wide range of Bourgogne Crus, including a large selection of Nuits Saint Georges wines, as well as Volnay and Fixin. The first growth Fixin « Clos du Chapitre » spreads over 2 ha in the north of Côte de Nuits and produces a long-ageing wine with a deep and intense color, and a complex nose with aromas of black fruits in its youth which develop into wilder flavors with age.
Excellent value for money, the 2001 Fixin first growth « Clos du Chapitre » is a favorite of ours !
