The 1983 Château Carbonnieux is a Bordeaux red wine under Pessac Léognan appellation and a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest castles in the Bordeaux region and has a 92 ha vineyard spread out around its property since the 13th century. On these 92 ha, 50 are devoted to red grape varieties. Converted to a sustainable and responsible agriculture, this Grand Cru only improves with time. Ancient wine, the 1983 Château Carbonnieux will delight lovers of old Bordeaux and make an original wine-themed gift.
