The 1983 Domaine des Chanssaud in magnum is a Vallée du Rhône red wine from the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. Family domaine created in 1826, Domaine des Chanssaud spreads over 46 ha, 20 of which are dedicated to vine culture within the famous Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. This renowned domaine, located close to the famous Châteauneuf village, is well-known for being the former summer residence of the Popes. The current owner, Patrick Jaume, produces great wines composed of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, classic Châteauneuf du Pape wines. Excellent long-ageing wine, especially in Magnum, the 1983 Domaine des Chanssaud is a rare wine which will delight lovers of prestigious wines from Vallée du Rhône.
