The 2001 Château Champarel is a southwest red wine from the Pécharmant appellation, located in Bergerac, Dordogne. This domaine spreads over 6 ha of vines composed of Merlot, Cabernet franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated according to organic agricultural methods, and offers great wines considered as a reference in the region. These are almost black-colored wines with a nose of red fruits and grilled, spicy notes. Ancient vintages are rare, the 2001 Château Champarel is a bottle not to miss out on, for lovers of this confidential cru.
