The 1973 Clos René is a Bordeaux red wine from the prestigious Pomerol appellation. This great wine is composed of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet franc and 10% Malbec. Property of the Lasserre family for several generations, Clos René is one of the most consistent Pomerol domaines. Its lack of media coverage allows for an excellent value for money. This 1973 Clos René is an excellent ancient wine and a Pomerol classic.
