The 1953 Château Ausone is a Bordeaux red wine from the famous Saint-Émilion appellation. Considered as one of the oldest Crus from this region, Château Ausone spreads over 7 ha of vines composed of 45% Merlot and 55% Cabernet franc. Very rare and highly-prized among lovers and collectors of great wines, Château Ausone is a First Growth Bordeaux on the same level as the famous Château Cheval-Blanc, Pavie and Angélus. Powerful, rich and aromatic wines, the Château d'Ausone's wines have an exceptionally good ageing potential.
