The 1961 Château Fonbadet is a Bordeaux red wine under Pauillac appellation. Property of the famous Médoc wine-producer family, it is located in the center of Pauillac and is the neighbor to First Growth Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Latour, as well as Grand Cru Château Lynch Bages and Château Pichon Longueville. Its vineyard spreads over 20 ha, a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet franc, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Ranked Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in 1932, Château Fonbadet has maintained this recognition. The 1961 Château Fonbadet is a prestigious Cru, a rare wine to taste, offer or collect. Its vintage makes it a perfect anniversary wine.
