The 1955 Pommard from Maison Léon Violland is a Bourgogne red wine from the Village appellation of the Côte de Beaune vineyard. Founded in 1844, Maison Léon Violland is one of the oldest wineries in Bourgogne. Originally established in the Beaune center, it had beautiful cellars favorable to the production of great wines. Now property of the Boisset group, famous owners of Domaine de la Vougeraie, the 20 ha of vines producing prestigious Crus such as Savigny-Les-Beaunes, Puligny Montrachet and Corton Charlemagne, have found a second wind for the pleasure of wine lovers.
