The 1999 Château Sociando-Mallet La Demoiselle de Sociando-Mallet is a Bordeaux red wine from the Haut-Médoc appellation. Well-known for its wine quality and not a potential ranking, Château Sociando-Mallet is a historic wine estate born in the mid 17th century which now spreads over 85 ha. Property of famous Jean Gautreau, the Sociando-Mallet wines have an great ageing potential and can compete with a few « Grands Crus Classés ». Second wine from the castle, « La Demoiselle de Sociando-Mallet » is produced from the youngest vines and richest clay-soil. More accessible than its elder, this great wine can easily be kept for several years... Especially from great vintages. Vintaged wine, the 1999 La Demoiselle de Sociando-Mallet is an excellent value for money.
