Historic Maison Jaboulet was founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet and is now owned by the Frey family, champagne winemakers for generations and owners of Château La Lagune. Oenologist Caroline Frey is doing everything possible in order to revive all the classified growths while still respecting traditional methods. Iconic Vallée du Rhône appellation like Hermitage, the Côtes-Roties wines are some of the most highly-prized bottles in France. With a vineyard from the 6th century, famous for its exceptional wine quality, the Côte-Rotie AOC spreads over 235 ha of vines planted in terraces across two terroirs : Côte Brune and Côte Blonde. Long-ageing wine composed mostly of Syrah, it can sometimes be associated with Viognier. Great vintaged wine, the 2004 Les Jumelles from Domaine Paul Jaboulet Ainé and the Côte-Rôtie appellation will delight lovers of fine matured wines from Vallée du Rhône.
