The 1949 Volnay from the Maison Calvet is Bourgogne red wine under Volnay appellation. This great wine is composed only of Pinot Noir. Considered as the most feminine Bourgogne red wine, the Volnay vines are cultivated on a 206 ha vineyard with 118 ha in First Growth, including the famous Les Caillerets and Les Chênes. Fine and elegant, they are the true ambassadors of the Bourgogne viticulture.
