The 1964 Château Le Gay is a Bordeaux red wine from the prestigious Pomerol appellation. Particularly sought-after by Pomerol wine lovers, Château Le Gay is a confidential domaine with 8 ha of vines composed mostly of Merlot. Historic property known as Manoir De Gay in the 18th century, it was divided in 2 separate domaines in the mid 19th century : the rare Château Lafleur and Château Le Gay. These two Pomerol castles were owned for a long time by the Robin sisters, who entrusted the domaines' management to the famous Moueix family, owner of Château Pétrus. Now property of the Péré-Vergé family, owner of Château Montviel, Château Le Gay was given a whole new dynamic for the delight of wine lovers.
