The 1997 Château Pérenne is a Bordeaux red wine under Premières Côtes de Blaye appellation. Vineyard created in the 17th century, it spreads over 77 ha of vines composed of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec for the red wine production. Owned since 1997 by Bernard Magrez, owner of the famous Château Pape Clément, Château Pérenne produces wines in line with those of this Bordeaux Grand Cru. High-quality, rich and harmonious wine, it deserves its Cru Bourgeois status. Recently sold to chinese billionaire Jack Ma, owner of Entre-deux-mers Château de Sours, Château Pérenne will keep developping easily. The 1997 Château Pérenne is a vintaged wine with an excellent value for money.
