Most northern appellation of the Médoc, its vineyard is located between Pauillac in the north and Haut-médoc in the south, and includes many prestigious domaines and 5 Grands Crus Classés from 1855 : Château Cos d'Etournel, Château Montrose, Château Calon Ségur, Château Lafon-Rochet and Château Cos Laboury. It spreads over 1200 ha and produces 70 000 hl of red wines exclusively. They are solid, earthy and robust wines, very appreciated by lovers of great Bordeaux wines.

Style of wines : Concentrated color. Legendary wine, the Saint-estèphe has a nose with fragrances of lilium (fleur de lys), black and red fruits, soft spices and violette. With age appear notes of game and undergrowth. In the mouth, harmonious, powerful and robust with fine and distinguised tannins, needing time to soften up, with a distinct and fresh finish. Excellent ageing potential.
