The Haut-Médoc appellation, combining the vineyard located south of the Médoc peninsula and upstream of the Garonne river, spreads over 4765 ha. Producing 242 315 hl of red wines, it includes the best Bordeaux Crus and 5 Grands Crus Classés from 1855. On this land can be found prestigious communal appellations such as Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe, Margaux, Listrac, Moulis.
Main grape varieties : Cabernet-sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, malbec, petit verdot.
Soils : Gravel, clay-limestone
Style of wines : Deep garnet red color. Flattering nose of ripe red fruits, black fruits (blackcurrant) and notes of soft spices, vanilla and roasting. In the mouth, fleshy, ample with a beautiful tannic frame and long finish for these exceptional wines.
