Rare wine - Vintage 1969

Even though 1969 was a difficult year, it was much more successful than its elder and managed to produce very good wines.

This year was especially difficult for the Bordeaux region due to the heavy rainfalls in september. The 1969 red Bordeaux wines are indeed quite thin and the white wines suffer from excessive acidity. However, Petrus proves to be very successful though quite rare.

The wines are fine in Sauternes while Bourgogne produced very good, solid wines with a very nice ageing potential. The white Chablis wines stand out with a quality 1969 vintage.

The Rhône valley produced well-balanced, flavorful and full-bodied wines. In the Loire region, the white wines are perfect and syrupy.

If you wish to celebrate an important event, offering a beautiful 1969 bottle is an excellent idea. You will easily find the perfect bottle among these beautiful wines we have selected : Côte Rôtie, Hermitage, Lafite Rothschild, Heidsieck Monopole Diamant Bleu, Château Margaux or Grands-Echézeaux.
