More info

The 1979 Château Rieussec is a Bordeaux white wine from the Sauternes appellation.

Born in the 18th century, Château Rieussec is now owned by the Barons de Rothchild Domaines, owner of the famous First Growth Pauillac Château Lafite Rothschild. Château Rieussec spreads over 68 ha of vines composed of Sémillon (in large proportion), Sauvignon and Muscadelle, a vineyard neighbor to the prestigious Château Yquem and Château de Fargues.

Old vintage, the 1979 Château Rieussec is a sure value of the appellation, a fine Sauternes wine among the appellation's elite.
